25th of the Month Challenge

O.K I am already to go for tommorrow, camera charged up and album started, ready for pics on Saturday at a crop I go to.
Really didn't fancy the idea of this challenge until yesterday when I looked at ukscrappers and shimelles blog to see just what it involved and convinced myself I need to scrap myself more often.
Have been thinking ahead already to other 25ths bar tommorrow. The 25th May will be a good one as I will be in the car travelling up to Alton Towers that day, so will get the children to take pics of me in the car and the park when we get there.Some summer pics for July and August and then who knows where I will be come September.
We will see........

I'm Back

Well, not been around much over the last week or so. As a diabetic I am just getting used to having to now use insulin to control my blood sugars. I have mixed emotions about all this and it is still sinking in, however I have my craft to take my mind off of it.
I thought after my large spend at the craft show I would not need to buy anymore stash. How wrong am I . Today I have just received the new Dovecraft designer papers which are absolutely gorgeous, they are fantasy and hint of pink and the colours are fab.
I have done a fair bit of scrapping over the last couple of weeks and now have a crop to look forward to on Saturday.
I must say it is harder to sort myself out for these crops now though, with so much stuff I never know quite what to take. I need to really think about what I want to do and take all equipment to do this. I wish I had a bigger house and then I could have these sessions at my house and not have to lug anyhting around, maybe this is a possibility for the summer!!
Must go now as I need to do a page with my new papers, have an idea already.

Fab Day out

Saturday has been and gone and what an excellent day out to Ally Pally we all had. There were 5 of us whom are all scrapbookers at different levels from very new to it to doing it for yrs.
We went with our savings and plastic and just didn't stop spending. I think between us we probably spent around £600 and what a load of stash we bought.
My money was spent on lots of bits and bobs as I have a lot of the bigger gadgets that the others bought. Cant believe how much I spent though, wont put it up incase hubby ever manages to find his way round a computer and on to here. I did find a lot of baragin buckets though so got lots for my money.
Have photographed all stash and am in the process today of putting it all away.

More Stuff

O.K . Have had to do some shopping today for DH birthday pressie but could not go without buying more stuff for craft. Got a couple of good buys today though, got a pack of 20 papers for a £1 and got a set of 10 large alphabet stencils for £1.50.
I have also treated myself to a Lets Make Cards mag for a bit of inspiration, did,'t realise how expesive it was though til I got to the till. Will have to make sure I use all the freebies and read every single word in it.
Got to go and make a card now for DH and the boys are just about to raid my stash to make their cards.

Back again

O.K Getting the hang of sorting my blog out now, needless to say I've not got much more craft done this afternoon.
Must do some more tonight, supposed to be going out for a drink for a mates birthday but can't really go as I have recently had to start doing insulin injections to control my diabetes and I am not sure how I will cope at the moment with alcohol and food around me all night.
Got a fab weekend to look forward to though as I am off to Ally Pally with a few friends for the craft show, got loads to spend but not sure what I need. Will be a good day out with lots of laughs I'm sure.

Time to get organised!!!!!

Well, what a busy day already. Post arrived at 9am with my Artymiss stuff I ordered yesterday lunchtime. Got some sale dcwv stock,some hotp sale stock and the new basic grey sultry papers. I really don't need anything else and wont do for many years to come, have enough stuff to last way past my last days, still I do NEED it!!!!
Have spent the morning organising my storage unit for all my die cut letters. I bought a fab little box sort of thingy yesterday with 25 compartments(almost 1 letter a box) for the grand total of £1.99 and it is just perfect.
I have 3 differnt scrap pages on the go at the moment but my conservatory is way to warm at the moment to sit in and craft, will wait a bit til it cools down and will try and get these 3 finished. Still get some sorting out to do in there as I have my delivery from yesterday to put away somewhere, I ordered loads from craft superstore in the sale. Got loads more new ribbons from Chatterbox which were all half price.
O.K back to my craft room for now.
